Remota ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Remota mobile application (the "App").

We do not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or passwords unless you voluntarily contact us for support.

Automatically Collected Information

Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers to operate and improve the App.
Usage Data: Anonymous analytics about which features are used (e.g., how often the keyboard or casting features are accessed). This data cannot identify you personally.
Local Network Data: When you use Remota, the App scans your local Wi-Fi network to discover Samsung TV devices. This data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
Crash Reports: Anonymized crash logs to help us fix bugs and improve stability.

Advertising Data

The free version of Remota displays ads served by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Google may collect and use data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. We request user consent for personalized advertising where required by applicable law (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). You may opt out of personalized ads at any time through your device settings.
